I was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in West Palm Beach, FL. I've visited and lived various places over the years, including 6 years in North Carolina and 1 year in Miami, FL. I received my Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies from Palm Beach State College in 2006. In 2009, I graduated from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC with my Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Psychology. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction through Concordia University - Portland (expected graduation is this December). In between earning my B.A. and going for my master's, I went to a couple other universities, pursuing interests such as event planning and fashion merchandising. I have taught Reading, World History, and U.S. History to students in grades 6-10. I am excited to be back at Bear Lakes, and a part of the English department this year!
